Our Newham Work has filled almost 40,000 jobs with Newham residents. Whatever your level of experience, we can provide support and advice about your next step.
Our service is free to all Newham residents. We offer a range of advice and guidance including various support services to help you secure employment. These include:
- improving your CV
- identifying exciting career options
- advising on jobs to best suit your skills
- good quality apprenticeships for all ages
- bespoke training to enhance your existing skills including accredited qualifications
- preparing you for attending assessment centres and interviews

Support for people with disabilities and mental health conditions
If you have a disability or a mental health condition, Our Newham Work has a specialist pathway to help you.
Support for people with alcohol and drug needs
Our Newham Work has a specialist pathway for residents who are already working with Change Grow Live Newham Rise.
Employment Rights Hub - Support with issues at work
We deliver free Workshops to raise awareness of employment rights and provide one to one case-work support to resolve issues at work.
This includes unpaid wages, discrimination, sickness absence, grievances, disciplinaries, dismissals, and much more.
Pioneer London - Help for unemployed people to find work
Work and Health Programme Pioneer is a specialist employment support service for people in Wales, London and Southern England who are not in work.
Our support can help you to:
Create a CV, apply for jobs, and prepare for interviews and work placements
Be more confident and improve your health and wellbeing
Learn new skills, train in a new sector and gain qualifications
Find a new job or self-employment and settle into your role
Work4All Scheme
Work4All provides free 1-1 Employability support to unemployed people, over 16 with the right to work in the UK, based in Newham. It is an individualised service tailored to your needs and circumstance.
