We are committed to supporting people in Newham who are open to a mental health team to thrive within their communities.

World Alzheimer's Day

On World Alzheimer’s Day, Thurs 21 Sept, Newham New Deal Partnership will be providing information at Newham University Hospital between 11am-2pm.

A hospital pharmacist will also be giving a talk on new dementia medication in the lecture theatre between 11am-12pm.

Black History Month - Celebrating Our Sisters

Black History Month is an annual celebration of the contributions made by Black African and Caribbean communities in the borough, nationally and internationally. The national theme for this year is 'Celebrating Our Sisters', spotlighting the achievements and successes of Black women who are often forgotten heroines.

To launch our programme, with the theme for this year, Celebrating Our Sisters, we’ll be joined by Newham born and bred Olympic, World and Commonwealth champion athlete Christine Ohuruogo MBE. She’ll be talking about her career, inspirations, life, achievements and more.
